Spiritual Strength

There are many powerful Sacramentals the Church has historically used to spiritually fight against plagues and pestilence. This is very relevant during the Corona Virus. Sacramentals include: “Seal the Doorposts with the Blood of the Lamb” *Divine Mercy Image (outside your door) *Blood of Christ Badge *Plague Cross of Trent *Exorcised Water *Hymn: Stella Caeli Extirpivat *St. Sebastian St. Sebastian is considered the protector against the plague, a nasty contagious illness that wiped out millions of lives in Europe during the Middle Ages. . It was during the 7th century in particular that believers started to address their prayers toward St. Sebastian during a violent outbreak of plague in Pavia, in northern Italy. Many people engage in incorrect theological studies by skipping over the Thomists/Scholastics to "get closer to the source." Though this may sound good in theory, by doing this, one loses much of the insight and clarity that has already been proclaimed by the Church and is binding on the faithful.
