(1605) Clement VIII:
- Restored more ancient versions of Vulgate because unauthorized editorial changes were being made by publishers.
 
(1634) Urban VIII:
- Reversed Clement VIII back to Official Vulgate edition
 - Reworded some rubrics to be more understandable
 
(1884) Leo XIII:
- Revised calendar because too many feasts
 - Restored rubrics that never changed but were being altered locally
 - Leonine prayers after Mass
 
(1920) Benedict XV:
- Rubrics reform of calendar (related to practice of seasonal commemorations and restoration of Lenten detail days)

 - Permission for vernacular hymns during low masses

- St Joseph added to Roman Canon
